UKMTO Products

UKMTO produces a series of products, these are aimed at publishing information on piracy and maritime security incidents in the region to industry (regardless of flag) as soon as possible.

Individual Incidents:

Are broadcast in the format of Warnings and Advisories. These messages will not detail the name of the vessel concerned, unless approved by the Master/CSO. These messages indicate a vessels position, at the time and the activity experienced. i.e. Attack, Suspicious Approach or Irregular Activity.

Weekly Reports:

A weekly summary of maritime security incidents and related information pertaining to the UKMTO Voluntary Reporting Area (VRA).
