Advisories
UKMTO produces a product termed an Advisory. An Advisory is a security related report received from a vessel within the Voluntary Reporting Area (VRA) which do not meet the BMP criteria for raising a report. These reports of suspicious or unusual activity, or patterns of behaviour within the VRA are received from any source including a ships master, a member of the crew, embarked Private Security Team (PST), a vessel’s Company Security Officer or a Security Company.
